Unique chatpate pakode Recipe

Pakode is what everybody loves to eat in India. It is prepared in almost every North Indian kitchen. What makes it mouth watering is the taste with red and green sauce or chutney.
Wow!... Mouthwatering!.. Mesmerising!.. are the words what one can hear from the person eating these. Pakode has a lot of types like aloo pakoda, pyaaz pakoda, mirchi pakoda, bread pakoda , etc.

   Every type of pakoda has it's own unique taste but how can we add more uniqueness. That's what we are going to learn ahead.
   I love eating pakode during rainy season and living in Bangalore gives me lots of opportunities to enjoy this chilly chatka. Well! I always try to add some newness to the old dishes and  love experimenting with whatever I have. All this makes me crazy enough to enjoy eating to it's height. Hope you people also feels the same while trying out my recipes.  So, here comes the chatpate ingredients...

Unique chatpate pakode Ingredients :-

1. Potato(sliced)1 medium
2. Onion(sliced)1 medium
3. Green chilly(slit into two)                   5-6
4. Bread(cut into two triangles)2 pieces
5. Raisins(cut into two pieces)4-6
6. Besan/Gram flour250 gm
7. Fresh coriander leaves(finely chopped)       2 tbsp
8. SaltAs per your taste
9. Red chilly powder1/4 tsp
10. WaterAs much required
11. Chaat masala1 tsp
12. Ginger garlic paste1/2 tsp
13. Eno fruit salt1/2 tsp
14. Oil1 litre

Steps to make Unique chatpate pakode :-

1) Take besan in a bowl and mix well.

2) Add water just to make a thick batter which can be used to cover the veggies properly. It must not be too much dripping nor too thick .

3)Slit green chillies and add the seeds to the batter.

4) Add all spices and condiments and mix well . There should not be any lumps.

5) Heat some oil in a heavy bottom pan or kadhai.

6) Wrap the veggies slices with the batter and add them one by one into the oil.

7) Fill your chillies from inside also. Keep your gas knob at low while adding slices to the kadhai. At other time you can prepare on medium or high flame.

8) Don't add too many at once otherwise they can stick to each other.

9) Fry until golden brown. Take them out using a karchi with holes to avoid extra oil coming with them.
Soak them over paper towel to avoid extra calories.

10)Serve hot with tomato sauce and green chutney.

11) Enjoy your chiili snacks with a nice cup of tea.

Kesaria sevaiyan in a milky way

Sevaiyan is a all time favourite dish of mine. It's speciality is that it can be prepared in many ways and each way possess it's own uniqueness. Each sevaiyan recipe gives immense pleasure to the eyes, nose and tongue of the eater.

Today I am preparing sevaiyan in a milky way, means I will be using milk as one of the main ingredient of the recipe. As all of you know that milk is said to be a perfect meal in itself containing almost all nutrients our body needs for it's proper functioning. This recipe utilises the milky nutrients and makes my dish more healthy and tasty.

It's health benefits does not ends up here kesar and dry fruits goodness makes it more enriched in itself making the sevaiyan recipe more filling and satisfying.

Kesaria sevaiyan Ingredients :

1. Sugar 6 tbsp
2. Milk 500 ml
3. Almonds(shredded)                   5-6
4. Sevaiyan50 gm
5. Raisins 4-6
6. SaffronFew strands
7. Green cardamom seeds(crushed)3

Steps to make Kesariya sevaiyan :-

1) Take a heavy bottom pan and pour milk to it.

2) Boil the milk and add sevaiyan to it.

3) Cook on medium flame, stirring continuously till sevaiyan can be easily divided into two.
(check using a fork)

4) When mixture becomes thick add sugar and cardamom powder.(Don't make it too much thick)

5) Add kesar strands presoaked in some warm milk.

6) Your kesaria sevaiyan is ready.

7) Decorate by sprinkling dry fruits and serve hot. Enjoy!

Paav bhaji is a Maharashtra dish. It is very much popular in the streets of Mumbai. You will found a lot of stalls selling paav bhaji in Mumbai at almost every hook and nook.
 It is awesome in taste and do not require much labour to prepare. It is a hot delicacy providing tasty combination of  veggies ,butter and bread.
 Paav compliments bhaji and bhaji compliments paav. The aroma of butter can't be resisted. Hot bhaji with sweet and sour taste makes it more irresistible. Different people prepare it in their own way . My way is quite unique as I myself invented it. So,  get ready to know the ingredients of this yummy buttery treat .

Paav Bhaaji Recipe Ingredients :-

Ingredients for Bhaaji :-

1. Potatoes2
2. Carrots2
3. Cabbage                  1/2 cup
4. Capsicum1/2 cup
5. Oil3 tbsp
6. Paav bhaaji masala1 & 1/2 tsp
7. Turmeric powder1/2 tsp
8. Onion2
9. Salt1 tsp
10. Tomato puree1/2 cup
11. Coriander2 tbsp
12. Butter2 tbsp
13. Ginger garlic paste1 tsp
14. Chaat masala1 tsp
15. Green peas2 tbsp
16. Lemon juice1 tbsp
17. Water1 Cup

Ingredients for Paav :-

1. Paav4
2. Amul butter         6-8 tbsp

Steps to make Paav Bhaaji :-

1) Cook all vegetables with some water till 3/4 done. Mash them properly using a potato masher.

2) Now take a heavy bottom pan or kadhai and put some oil.

3) Add ginger garlic paste, paav bhaaji masala and turmeric powder. Cook for 5 minutes.

4) Add tomato puree, vegetables, water, butter and salt to it.

5) Cook for 8-10 minutes , covered. Mash it properly once or twice in between.

6) Switch off the flame and add lemon juice. Your sweet & sour bhaaji is ready.

7) For paav, slit paav into two equal halves horizontally.

8) Heat tawa on lower to medium flame.

9) Spread some butter. Cook by inverting the paav's with both sides open till golden brown. 

10) Cook from both sides.

11) Enjoy this heart filling snack with your family and friends.

Rava Idli

Rava Idli Recipe

Idli is a south Indian dish. It works as a daily meal for south Indians. Mainly it is prepared using rice and daal but it can also be prepared using rawa / semolina. For preparing rice idli we need to ferment the batter a day before. So, if you haven't done any pre preparation a day before, for rice idli. Don't worry because rawa idli can be prepared instantly. It does not need a lot of preparations and not even need a lot of ingredients. It just needs the love of the maker while preparing the recipe for their loved ones. It can be eaten with sambhar or the traditional chutney as well. So, here comes the ingredients.

Rava Idli Ingredients :-

1. Rawa/Semolina(thick) 500 gm
2. Vegetable oil/Ghee4 tsp
3. Curry leaves                        4-5
4. Coriander(finely chopped)1 tbsp
5. Mustard seeds1 tsp
6. Salt1 tsp
7. Eno fruit salt3 tsp
8. Cashew nuts(finely chopped)6-8
9. Curd1 cup

Steps to make Rava Idli :-

1) Mix all ingredients in a bowl except oil, mustard seeds and curry leaves.

2) Add water and make the batter of pouring consistency.

3) Take a pan and put oil into it. keep at low flame.

4) Add mustard seeds into it and let them splatter.

5) Add curry leaves to it and switch off the flame.

6) Add this to the batter and mix well.

7) Pour 2 cups of water at the bottom of the idli cooker.

8) Grease idli stands and pour in the batter.

9) Cook for 6-8 minutes till they are done.

10) Check using a toothpick or a knife. If it comes out clean, it means that your Idli is ready.

11) Enjoy with your family and friends.

Pizza In Microwave

Pizza is an Italian dish. It possess lots of health benefits in the form of olive oil and vegetable toppings. It serves as snacks and meal as well. It is liked by all age groups and bring water to every mouth. It is prepared in many different ways and with many different varieties of toppings and is eaten in many different countries but similarity lies in the way everybody takes pleasure having it. Here I am defining, an easy and fast way of preparing a delicious pizza at your own home. Let's go through our Italian ingredients.

Pizza In Microwave Ingredients:-

1. Pizza base 1
2. Mozzarella cheese (Grated)3/4 Cup or 75 gm
3. Capsicum (slit lengthwise)              1/2
4. Onion(slit lengthwise)1/2
5. Tomato (chopped) 1/2 tsp
6. Corn kernels1/4 tsp
7. Olives a few
8. Olive oil 1 tbsp
9. Garlic paste 1 tsp
10. Oregano1 tsp
11. Tomato ketchup/Pizza sauce 1 tbsp
12. Salt1/4 tsp
13. Pepper1/4 tsp

Pizza In Microwave Procedure:-

1) Apply some oil on pizza base and invert on greased grill tawa. Grill for 3-4 minutes.

2) Take a bowl and put olive oil, garlic paste, pizza sauce, oregano, salt and pepper into it and mix well.

3) Brush pizza base edges with some oil .

4) Apply the mixture over the pizza base except on edges.

5) Sprinkle the vegetables and corn and top it with mozzarella cheese.

6) Again sprinkle some of the veggies over it and decorate with olives.

7) Grill it for 4-5 minutes on high. 

8) Enjoy with your family and friends.

Microwave Recipe

Today is a rainy day and I am thinking of preparing a new dish for my family as snacks during evening. All of a sudden, I reminded of sharing my new recipe with you. This will double my excitement of preparing it and will also enable others to prepare.
Tomato cuppamania is the recipe I learnt from my mother. It is so simple to prepare and is full of variety of nutrients. So, are u ready for the healthy burst in your mouth?
Here comes the colorful ingredients for preparing it.

 Microwave recipe Ingredients:-

1. Tomatoes 4
2. Onions(small size)2
3 Capsicum(chopped finely)              3 tbsp
4. Apples(chopped finely)2
5. Fresh bread crumbs 3 tbsp
6. Salt1/4 tsp
7. Pepper As per taste
8. Amchoor/Dry mango powder1/4 tsp
9. CorianderFew for decoration
10. Mustard seeds1 tsp

 Microwave Recipe Procedure :-

1) Cut tomato into 2 halves.

2) Take out the pulp and sprinkle salt inside.

3) Invert them for few minutes.

4) In a pan heat some oil and add mustard seeds.

5) Let them splatter and switch off the flame.

6) Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

7) Cut the base of the tomatoes and fill the tomatoes with this mixture.

8) Bake at 180 degree Celsius for 14-16 minutes.

9) Garnish with coriander.

10) Enjoy delicious tomatoes with your family and friends.

Dhokla recipe

Dhokla is a vegetarian food recipe. It is originated from the state of Gujarat in India. It is prepared by fermenting gram flour batter. It is eaten as breakfast as a side dish or as a snack. It is easy to prepare and is ready in few minutes. Really helpful to the working people who don't have much time to prepare a healthy breakfast in the morning or eat a healthy snack at the evening. It is a light and quick to prepare in microwave by using some easy to find ingredients. My method makes dhokla soft and fluffy. So, get ready to say yummy... while enjoying it. Let's have a look at the helpful ingredients.

Dhokla Recipe Ingredients:-

1. Gram flour/besan 1 Cup
2. Semolina/ suji(thick)1/4 cup
3. Water(approx)              3/4 cup
4. Ginger(grated)1/2 inch
5. Icing sugar 1 tsp
6. Salt3/4 tsp
7. Lemon juice 1 tsp
8. Eno fruit salt 1 tsp
9. Oil For Greasing

Tempering Ingredients:-

1. Oil 2 tsp
2. Rai/Mustard seeds1 tsp
3. Curry leaves              4-5
4. Dried red chillies2
5. Green chili(slit sideways) 1
6. Icing Sugar1 tsp
7. Tamarind paste 1 tsp
8. Coriander leaves (finely chopped)1 tsp
9. Water1/2 cup

Dhokla Recipe Procedure :-

1) Sift gram flour.

2) Mix all ingredients of dhokla recipe except eno fruit salt, to a thin smooth batter of pouring consistency.

3) Beat well till no lumps.

4)  Let the mixture ferment for 10 minutes.

5) Add eno fruit salt and mix well. Do not over mix.

6) Pour the batter into greased microwave dish.

7) Cover the microwave dish used for steaming.

8) Cook for 3-4 minutes at high.

9) For tempering, put some oil in a pan.

10) Add mustard seeds to it and let them splatter.

11) Add curry leaves , dried red chillies and green chilly.

12) Switch off the flame and add tamarind paste ,water and icing sugar to it.

13) Mix well. 

14) Cut the dhokla into square pieces and pour the tempering over it evenly.

15) Decorate the dhokla using coriander leaves.

16) Dhokla is ready to enjoy with your friends and family.
